Kevin Acee was the first to report that the surgery was imminent in a recent edition of his Padres Notes column . Knehr has spent parts of the last three seasons on and off the active roster for San Diego. He owns a 1-3 record with a 5.96 ERA over 21 games (7 starts) since 2021.
