| 5/29/24 | Mariners reliever Tayler Saucedo's viral video lands on T-Mobile Park's big screen. Tayler Saucedo had no idea it was coming. He'd just finished up a scoreless eighth inning of work vs. the Astros, Tuesday night and received a nice ovation from the crowd for his effort. It wasn't an easy inning. He had to work through the top of Houston's lineup and keep the Mariners' deficit to just one run. He struck out Jose Altuve swinging with a nasty changeup for the first out. When Kyle Tucker worked a walk against him, refusing to chase anything off the plate, the inning got a little more difficult. But Saucedo, who was pitching for the first time since May 7 due to a stint on the injured list, didn't let the inning spiral out of control.
