RHP Brett Kennedy (Atlantic City), 30, is pitching for the Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds). Through 10 starts in Triple-A, he was 1-6 with a 7.74 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 43 innings. 5/30/24 | Former Padres Homegrown Pitcher Designated for Assignment By NL Squad. Pitcher Brett Kennedy, a former San Diego Padres prospect, has been designated for assignment by the Cincinnati Reds. The Friars drafted Kennedy in the 11th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. The Padres released him in Sept. 2021.
