7/24/24 Former Padres Reliever DFA'd by One of MLB's Worst Teams. The Los Angeles Angels designated former Padres relief pitcher Adam Cimber for assignment. Additionally, the Angels actitvated left-handed pitcher José Quijada from the 60-day injured list and optioned right-handed pitcher Jack Kochanowicz to Double-A. The news was announced on the Angels' public relations Twitter/X account Monday.

6/15/24 Angels Make Multiple Roster Moves Amid Bullpen Shakeup. The Los Angeles Angels announced a few roster moves ahead of their game Saturday afternoon against the San Francisco Giants. Right-handed pitcher Adam Cimber was placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation and righty José Marte was selected from Triple-A Salt Lake. The final move was the release of infielder Ehire Adrianza. Cimber has struggled mightily to open this season.

6/15/24 Angels explode for early 8-run lead, hang on to beat Giants. The Angels were on their way to a blowout victory before relievers Adam Cimber and Roansy Contreras allowed the Giants to get back in the game in the eighth, but closer Carlos Estévez finished off the 8-6 win in the ninth.

6/14/24 Angels explode for early 8-run lead, hang on to beat Giants. There are no ugly victories for the Angels this season. The Angels aren't about to apologize for their 8-6 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Friday night, even though they had an eight-run lead in the fourth inning. Relievers Adam Cimber and Roansy Contreras struggled in the eighth inning, allowing five runs. Closer Carlos Estévez then took care of the ninth to pick up a save in a game when he likely didn't think he'd be needed.
