The move clears the way for the Tigers to recall right-hander Alex Faedo, who will start Sunday's series finale against the San Diego Padres . White was recalled from Toledo on June 13 and made his Major League debut a day later against the Atlanta Braves. He probably won't have to wait long to get his next big-league opportunity, especially if the Tigers deal some pitchers at the Aug. 1 trade deadline. Duran’s homer, his 10th of the season, came on a 3-2 pitch by Brendan White (1-2), the 12th pitch of the at-bat. Texas then pulled away with RBI hits by Corey Seager and Nathaniel Lowe, and Adolis Garcia’s two-run homer, all off Anthony Misiewicz. Miguel Cabrera and Tyler Nevin had RBI singles in the second inning to give Detroit a 2-0 lead.
