The Chicago Cubs have begun to build their farm system over the years, and at the top, that has resulted in them sneakily becoming one of the deepest in the league. While the Cubs don't have any players in the top 30, they are tied with the Seattle Mariners for the most prospects on the list with six. Shortstop Jefferson Rojas and outfielder Kevin Alcantara were both listed in the "next 50" section, so while they didn't crack the Top 100 this time, they are players to watch for the next update. 2/27/23 | Minor league pitching depth will be a top Yankees priority in 2023. There are fans of the Yankees who accuse Brian Cashman of “hugging” the organization's prospects. In reality, the Yankees have traded a small army of quality prospects in the last two years alone. FanGraphs recently released its Top 100 Prospects list, and it included Kevin Alcantara, Ken Waldichuk, and Hayden Wesneski. All three of those players were Yankees not long ago, as were players like Luis Medina and Canaan Smith-Njigba, who appear among the top prospects in their new organizations, and Ezequiel Duran and Josh Smith, who broke through to the big leagues last year.
