3/24/25 Should the Broncos make free agent RB J.K. Dobbins a priority?. Sean Payton had one final spin in store for his 2024 running back rotation. Heading into Denver's Wild Card game at Buffalo, Payton decided Tyler Badie was ready to come off of injured reserve, where he'd been since a Week 4 back injury. To make room for him on the game-day roster, the Broncos relegated fifth-round rookie Audric Estime to the inactive list. Payton told the CBS broadcast during the week's production meetings that he had big plans for Badie in the game, but the Broncos fell behind in an eventual 31-7 loss and Badie played three snaps, carrying twice for 8 yards.

The Denver Broncos have ruled out running back Tyler Badie (back) and elevated defensive lineman Matt Henningsen from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's regular season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs. If Badie is not activated to the 53-man roster by Jan. 14, he will remain on IR for the rest of Denver's season.

12/25/24 As Broncos sort through RB options, rookie Audric Estime aims to make decision easy. The Broncos' running back question might only be adding more potential answers. Denver brought Tyler Badie back to practice on Tuesday, opening his 21-day return-to-play window ahead of Saturday's game at Cincinnati. Badie had just ascended to the 53-man roster and seemingly into the Broncos' regular running back rotation when he suffered a scary back injury Week 4 at the New York Jets. “He's doing well,” head coach Sean Payton said.

10/04/24 Injury Report: RB Tyler Badie ruled out of Week 5 matchup vs. Raiders. ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have ruled out running back Tyler Badie for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Badie did not practice this week with a back injury he suffered during a Week 4 matchup with the Jets. Badie is the lone Broncos player who was ruled out of this week's game. Wide receiver Josh Reynolds (foot), safety JL Skinner (ankle) and cornerback Tremon Smith (hand) were all full participants on Friday and not assigned game statuses. The lack of a game status indicates a player will be available to play. Denver is set to face the Raiders at 2:05 p.m. MT on Sunday on FOX.

9/22/24 Broncos Four Downs: That's Bidet, to you. Tyler Badie shines as Javonte Williams struggles in Denver's win. Evidently, Tyler Badie's last name has been mispronounced by broadcasters, coaches and football fans for his entire career. On a day when Javonte Williams' RB1 stock continued to plummet, Badie took advantage. The backup who has been cut at the roster deadline two consecutive preseasons vindicated his persistence with 70 yards on nine carries Sunday, including a 43-yard explosion that helped the Broncos run out the clock. It didn't help his future prospects that Jaleel McLaughlin also made a statement, juking a defender for an improbable touchdown on fourth-and-goal.

No. 2 back Jaleel McLaughlin has 13 carries for 33 yards, or 2.5 yards per.

8/19/23 No surprises among eight Broncos not in uniform due to injury Saturday night vs. 49ers. A couple of former San Francisco 49ers weren't able to play against their former team Saturday night for the Broncos. Right tackle Mike McGlinchey and nickel K'Waun Williams, both of whom played for the 49ers earlier in their careers, were among eight Denver players not in uniform for the team's second preseason game. Locke and Justin Simmons, cornerback Riley Moss, running back Tyler Badie, wide receiver Brandon Johnson and tight end Chris Manhertz.
