Yes, the slow start along with the Evan McPherson missed kicks and that fourth down penalty vs. the Chiefs will likely keep Burrow out of the playoffs, but let's enjoy the Broncos victory and stay positive while there is still hope. A fan wearing an Evan McPherson jersey won everyone in Paycor Stadium a free pizza after kicking a 40-yard field goal. The man, who hasn't been identified, was taking part in the Bengals' "Slice the Uprights" field goal challenge that gives fans the chance to win free pizza. A successful attempt from the 10-yard line gives the kicker free pizza for a year, and a successful attempt from the 30-yard line gives the entire stadium a free slice. York, 23, has served as the Bengals' kicker in each of the last two games after Evan McPherson suffered an injury at the beginning of December. In two games against the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans, York went 3-3 on field goal attempts and 7-8 on extra point attempts, with his lone miss coming late in the fourth quarter against Tennessee. A 71.4 percent overall average ranks McPherson tied for 36th in the league entering Week 12. The struggles have started to carry over and impact other areas of the Bengals, too, with Zac Taylor opting to get more aggressive in some spots because he clearly can't trust the kicking game. The disintegration of kicker Evan McPherson's accuracy might be the most jarring development in a Cincinnati Bengals season full of failures. The expectation for McPherson, who signed a three-year, $16.5 million extension in August, was that he would be a weapon and a difference maker. After hitting chip shots of 26 and 27 yards in the first half on Sunday's 34-27 road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, McPherson's slump continued in the fourth quarter after the Bengals rallied from a 21-point deficit to tie the game. Evan McPherson is locked in with Cincinnati for the majority of this decade after inking a three-year extension with the team on Sunday. It's worth $16.5 million and includes $10 million in new money during Year One, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. "If it didn't get done, I was kind of at peace with it anyways, but I knew where it was trending, and I'm just excited that it's finished, it's done now, and just kind of relax and go have fun," McPherson told the media on Monday.
