Jones, 30, did not practice on Monday and was limited on Tuesday. The five-time Pro Bowl selection has five sacks, 20 quarterback hits and 37 tackles in 15 starts this season. Also inactive for the Chiefs (14-1) are starting left tackle D.J. Humphries, offensive linemen Ethan Driskell and C.J. Hanson, defensive ends Joshua Uche and Malik Herring, and defensive back Chamarri Conner. Ben Skowronek, who the Pittsburgh Steelers picked up to help with their wide receiver room this offseason, returned to practice today following a shoulder injury that saw him sidelined since September 18. The team announced they have officially opened his 21-day window from Injured reserve. Skowronek played the first two games of the season for the Steelers before getting sidelined, registering no stats before moving to IR. 7/27/24	Texans training camp: Ben Skowronek continues to fight for role on roster. When the Texans traded for Rams receiver Ben Skowronek, nothing was promised regarding his long-term role. Texans coach DeMeco Ryans mentioned during OTAs that adding the former seventh-round pick was made to elevate the level of competition in practice. Fast forward a week into training camp and Skowronek might no longer be competing for a spot on the 53-man roster, especially since he adds value on special teams. “Skowronek does a great job when it comes to special teams, does a great job of communicating,” Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Saturday. 7/22/24	28 Notes about Training Camp, Day 4. 15. I thought that WR Ben Skowronek had a strong day. A few reps later, QB Tim Boyle looked as if he was throwing a back-shoulder ball to Skowronek up the far sideline. The ball got away from Boyle a bit, but Skowronek did a masterful job of going up for the rebound and snatching the ball at a high point for the catch. Then, later in the final team period of the day, QB Case Keenum worked himself up into the pocket due to a little pressure and ripped one to Skowronek who kept working to find an open spot for his QB.
