| 8/27/25 | Pirates Add Popular Pitcher to Bullpen. The Pittsburgh Pirates have brought back a fan favorite in the bullpen, amongst a few roster moves. The Pirates announced that they recalled right-handed relief pitcher Dauri Moreta from Triple-A Indianapolis on Aug. 26, designating left-handed pitcher Andrew Heaney for assignment to make room on the 26-man roster. Moreta joined the Pirates after they recalled him from Indianapolis on August 2, marking his first time back at the MLB level since the end of the 2023 season.
