Crawford hit a walk-off two-run home run on Friday night, lifting the Seattle Mariners to a 4-3 win against the division rival Texas Rangers at T-Mobile Park. The blast in the bottom of the ninth inning was the first walk-off homer of Crawford's career, and lifted the M's to their second win in as many nights. The Seattle Mariners rallied for an incredible come-from-behind victory on Friday night at T-Mobile Park, beating the Texas Rangers 4-3. J.P. Crawford provided the heroics, hitting his first career walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. The blast also made some unique team history, per Mariners PR, who reports that Crawford is the first M's shortstop to hit a walk-off home run with his team trailing. The blast had to be a cathartic one for Crawford, who had been mired in a 3-for-44 slump and had been dropped to eighth in the order in the wake of the trade deadline acquisition of Eugenio Suarez. The Seattle Mariners have made it to Sacramento to take on the Athletics, and they'll open the series at 7:05 p.m. Monday with a different look to their lineup. Shortstop and usual leadoff hitter J.P. Crawford is getting the day off Monday, which more or less moves everybody up a spot in the batting order. Crawford has played in all but three of Seattle's 106 games thus far. While he's hitting .268, is fourth in the American League with 56 walks and 12th with a .364 on-base percentage, he is hitting just .093 (4 for 43) with only one walk in 10 games since the All-Star break.
